Lanny Birch's Skatepark Blog is a web-based comedic skatepark travelogue show. Lanny Birch (an anagram of Brian Lynch), a skateboarder in his 30's takes you along to his favorite skateparks.

Along for the ride is Lanny's nephew, Streetskater Chris (Scimeca) who skates everything Lanny can't, and skates it so well that he steals the attention from the host.

Lanny Birch's Skatepark Blog is available on YouTube, Facebook, iTunes, MySpace, and Shred or Die as well as LannyBirch.com.
Episode I: The Pedlow Menace
The first episode takes place at Pedlow Skatepark in Encino, CA. It sets up Lanny as a guy who's a good skater, but not that good. He'd like to be big deal, but it's painfully obvious he's not. He doesn't street skate and could care less about it. He's a good host, but he complains a lot.

Costa Mesa: Never Say Nephew Again
In this episode, taking place at the Volcom Skatepark in Costa Mesa, CA, Lanny's sponsors insist that he include the much more popular street skating into his blogs. His solution is to call in his nephew Chris whom he hasn't seen since he was twelve. Lanny is surprised to see Chris has grown up and become an amazing street skater.

The ChinO.C.
Lanny and Chris skate Ayala Park in Chino, CA. Lanny is fascinated by the  parallel between Chris, a kid from Orange County, skating at Chino, and Ryan from The O.C. a Chino kid living with a surrogate family in Orange County. Lanny takes the comparisons to absurd levels in this homage to the teen drama.

Battleskate Galabtica
In this homage to the new Battlestar Galactica, Lanny and Chris go to Skatelab in Simi Valley, CA. Instead of a war between humans and the dreaded Cylons, in this episode the humans ride transitions and fight the disgusting menace known as Street Cylons. However, like some of the eights like Boomer, Chris is an ally.

P-Rod Park: Why We Can't Have Nice Things
Lanny and Chris check out one of SoCal's newest parks, P-Rod Park in Pacoima, CA. Chris tears up this example of the latest trend in building street-style plazas, but the park as practically nothing for Lanny to skate, leaving him to find other activities to fill his time.

Blazing Arizona: OMA BBQ '09
In this epic journey that takes two parts to fill (at least on YouTube), Lanny and Chris are invited to attend the 2009 Old Man Army Barbecue, hosted by Old Man Army Skates. After 'tactfully' dealing with Chris' foot injury, Lanny is excited to mingle with his many fans most of whom can barely get his name right.

Burbank: Grind Rules
Lanny visits the entertainment capital of the world, Burbank, CA to skate a park just as high quality as the movies about skateboarding that are made in the same town. Lanny goes over a series of lessons and rules about skateboarding that he learned from the classic 2003 film, GRIND.

MontClairemont
In a case of "be careful what you ask for" Lanny is more than happy to let someone else give Chris a ride to the park. However, not only do they go to the wrong park, but Chris' ride turns out to be 2009 Women's World Cup Champion Julie Kindstrand. Needless to say, Lanny's not pleased.

Hannah Fontana
It's hard to be a superstar, whether a teen pop-star or a teen skate boarding star, the pressures are all the same. Sometimes a girl needs to get away from it all. That's why she has a secret identity. When Julie Kindstrand just wants to skate and not be the big star, she goes by Julz Lynn. Everyone seems to get this but Lanny.
